  • Allegro

    Allegro adds DHL as a courier for One Box locker deliveries from 16 July

    On 13 July Allegro told sellers that from 16 July parcels sent to its Allegro One Box lockers will also be handled by DHL, in addition to existing DPD delivery. Separately, from 15 July sellers can enable a standalone Allegro DHL Courier option in their Allegro Delivery shipping price lists.

    Why it matters Extra courier capacity behind Allegro One Box can improve reliability and speed for the locker delivery many Allegro buyers select, and the standalone DHL Courier option gives sellers another shipping route inside the Allegro Delivery programme.

  • Wider EU commerce

    MediaMarktSaturn aims to more than double marketplace GMV to 1.9bn euro by 2028/29, adds Hungary

    In a 13 July strategy update, MediaMarktSaturn said its third-party marketplace reached 800 million euro GMV in FY2025/26 and set a 1.9 billion euro target for FY2028/29. It plans to open the marketplace in Hungary by September 2026 and add categories such as pet care, mobility, energy and health.

    Why it matters MediaMarktSaturn is scaling its marketplace as a third-party sales channel, giving brands a growing non-Amazon route in electronics and adjacent categories, plus a new market opening in Hungary.
