The Dutch competition authority ACM published a draft decision on 3 August making bol's marketplace commitments binding, reshaping buy-box and data rules. The EU's PPWR packaging regime starts applying 12 August.

Two Amazon changes took effect this week: a 75-character product-title cap plus a new Item Highlights field (27 Jul) and the upgraded FBA New Selection Program 2026 (30 Jul). No qualifying bol, Allegro, Kaufland or wider EU items.

Amazon began its EU/UK rollout of scrapping the Featured Offer (Buy Box) seller-eligibility gate, Allegro auto-converted old custom shipping price lists, and bol announced a split of its 'Items on time' service standard.

A quiet week for EU marketplace policy. The main change: Amazon's tougher Fulfilled-by-Merchant rules, effective 15 July — a new 90% On-Time Delivery Rate on Amazon.de and removal of the two-day default handling time.

AG opinion rattles Amazon's Italian logistics setup, EU Parliament clears the digital euro for trilogue, bol.com becomes a licensed payments player, and Amazon.de puts FBM sellers on a 90% OTDR clock.

Week 27 — 29 June–5 July 2026
The EU's temporary €3 per-item customs duty on sub-€150 imports took effect on 1 July as France dropped its own €2 parcel charge. Eurostat put June euro-area inflation at 2.8%, and Amazon set out how the new duty is handled for FBA and FBM sellers.

Prime Day Europe ran 23–26 June while bol.com switched its Buy Box to the Quality Score and Allegro fired up Summer Sale across CEE, all with the EU's €3 low-value duty one week away.
