K6 Trading Is Entering a New Phase

From a family business to an international marketplace player. Here's what's next for K6 Trading.

Three siblings, One Bet on Marketplaces

We didn't start with a grand plan or a deck full of projections. We started with the conviction that marketplaces were going to reshape how products move across Europe, and that most brands weren't ready for it. We built the systems, learned the hard lessons, and kept going until the model worked. Now we're active in 30 countries, running 10 VAT registrations, and processing tens of thousands of parcels every month. If 2025 was the year we proved the model works, then 2026 is the year we scale it.

We Opened an Office in Amsterdam

In March 2026, we opened our second location in Amsterdam, and it wasn't a decision we made because it looked good on paper. We needed to be closer to key partners, more accessible for clients across the country, and positioned in a city that attracts the kind of talent we need to keep building at this pace.

Rotterdam is still where the work happens. The warehouse, the logistics, the daily grind of moving thousands of parcels out the door. That's our backbone and it stays exactly where it is. Amsterdam is where we're building the next version of K6, and having both locations running in parallel gives us a foundation that's stronger than either one alone.

We're Rebuilding the Engine

Scaling to 30 countries sounds exciting, and it is, but the reality is that it breaks things along the way. Processes that worked at lower volumes stop working when you're growing fast, workarounds become bottlenecks, and manual steps become risks. We've felt all of it, and we've been building our way through it systematically.

This year, we're going all in on our own software and AI tooling, not off-the-shelf solutions that almost fit, but systems built specifically for how we operate and where we're going. The goal is to make our operations internationally as sharp as they are domestically. Alongside that, we're moving to a larger warehouse facility in Rotterdam, giving us more capacity, more room for new categories, and the infrastructure to take on what's coming without the friction of outgrowing our own setup.

We're Hiring

This is a real expansion, not a reshuffle, and we need people who want to be part of building something rather than just maintaining it. We're looking for people who are comfortable with pace, who take ownership naturally, and who want to work on problems that actually matter in a fast-moving industry.

If you want to work at the intersection of e-commerce, logistics, and technology at a company that's genuinely moving fast, we'd love to hear from you. We're hiring in both Rotterdam and Amsterdam, and whether you're experienced or just getting started, if you're hungry and sharp, reach out.

What's Next

More marketplaces, more countries, more categories, and a more complete offer for the brands we work with. We've always believed that selling across Europe shouldn't be as complicated as it often is, and most brands that want to grow internationally get stuck in the operational complexity of it, from VAT and logistics to listings, compliance, and multilingual customer service. We've built the infrastructure to take that weight off their shoulders, and we're expanding that capability significantly this year.

The roadmap is full, new markets are in progress, new categories are being onboarded, and the systems we're building now will make every next step faster than the last.

Still a Family Business, Just a Bigger One

K6 Trading is still a family business and it always will be, but family businesses can be world-class operations, and that's exactly what we're building toward. If any of this resonates, whether you're a brand looking to grow on marketplaces, a potential partner, or someone looking for their next challenge, we're always open to a conversation.
