We're a family business founded by two brothers and a sister, with over a decade of experience.
How it all started
We began in 2012 with a small webshop and retail store, selling everyday consumer products. As marketplaces like Bol.com gained momentum, we launched our first seller account and immediately recognized the value: instant reach, built-in customer trust, and scalable logistics. From there, we expanded our assortment and built strong partnerships with suppliers—particularly in consumer electronics. When we created our first Amazon account, it was more of a test than a plan. But Amazon’s PAN-European reach quickly proved to be a game-changer.
Momentum and Growth
By closely monitoring product trends and customer demand, we stayed ahead of the curve. When demand for electric heating surged, we acted fast—partnering with a respected brand and scaling supply. That success gave us the resources to invest in our infrastructure, grow our team, and sharpen our operations. What started as a side project soon became a focused, fast-growing business built for the long term.
Power Tools
Later, a chance moment, receiving a power tool kit as a birthday gift, led us to discover just how much demand there was for quality (power) tools on Amazon. That insight marked the beginning of a new phase. We expanded our sourcing efforts and eventually entered into a long-term partnership with a major Dutch distributor. The collaboration was built on openness, reliability, and a shared goal: sustainable, scalable growth.
Amazon Strategic Account Services (SAS)
Our performance eventually caught Amazon’s attention, and we were invited to join the Strategic Account Services (SAS) program. This invite-only support track is typically reserved for sellers who have scaled significantly under Amazon's guidance. In our case, we reached that level independently. Through SAS, we now receive dedicated support in areas such as advertising, listing optimization, and strategic account development.
We originally started as resellers, working with wholesalers and distributors. This model offered speed and flexibility. However, we also experienced the operational risks that come with it. Over time, we made a deliberate shift and now collaborate directly with brand owners. This change has made our business more resilient and our partnerships more meaningful.
2025
Today, K6 Trading is still led by the same three siblings who are involved in every part of the business. What began as a small venture has grown into a company with a clear ambition: helping brands succeed across Europe by combining marketplace expertise with long-term vision and a strong focus on execution. We bring the knowledge of professional resellers and treat each brand as if it were our own. More to come!
